TextFader Help - Create your own flash for free

This is the essential Flash applet for your webpage. It will fade each of your messages into each other, thus giving a fantastic effect.

Fonts

Here you can specify the text alignment (left, right or centered text), the text size (in pixels) and the font. We recommend that you use centered alignment for the text. This applet supports FFT files.

Entering messages and URLs

This applet supports multiple line messages using the book fields. Make sure you have the same number of URLs as you have book pages. Each book page will be one message.

Fade speed and Fading into each other settings

The fading speed will set the speed for the fading effect. Make sure that it's not too large. By setting the option "fade into each other" the texts will interfade, otherwise one text will fade away and then the other will appear when the first text disappears.

Message pause

This is the pause between each message.

Background image

The background image will be used instead of the background color. Leave this field blank if you want to use the background color setting instead. Use the compression setting to decrease the SWF file size.
