The RotatingGallery is a gallery slideshow where all images rotate following a circle.

Choosing and selecting Size

You can chose the size of the applet in the "general" page, the size of the images and the one of the radius of the abstract circle the images will follow in the "other" page, please consult this table to ensure your applet will display correctly your images.

Recommended Size:

1-3 images: image size 22; min radius 200

4-11 images: image size 22; min radius 250

12- images: image size 18; min radius 280

Please remember that radius should be less than half the applet width.

Background color

By clicking on "color" it will be possible to set the background color of the gallery. You can also select a background image and select a solid color. The background image will overwrite the solid color setting.

Selecting Images and URLs

In the Images section you can select the images you want to be displaied in the gallery, each image should be linked to a page, you can set the relative page in the URLs section, please remember to put the links in the same order of the images.

Text Properties

In the "title" section you can set the text properties, as the phrase that will appear in the centre of tghe circle, his size and color.

Click Modes

This applet supports two click modes. In one of them, the URL is invoked after clicking once on a thumbnail, in the other mode "immediately" the URL is invoked after clicking on a zoomed image, so it requires two clicks to invoke the URL of a thumbnail.

Other settings

It is possible to set other options, as the mouse sensitivity, the minimum speed of the applet, the size of the zoom, the frame behind the images can be disabled and how much time the image remains zoomed after clicking on it. You can also disable the mouse movement in which the "Effect minimum speed" will control the movement of the images (use negative values to move the images to the opposite direction). Version history

1.6 : You can now disable the mouse interaction and then control the movement of the pictures by putting positive or negative values (e.g. -30 or 30) to the "Effect Min Speed" setting.

1.5 : When you unselected the background frames for each image, the URL and zoom functions ceased to work. Now fixed.

1.4 : A background image can now be added into the applet. The background image will automatically be resized to the applet size.

1.2 : The last fix with the clicking on the items function was not popular, so we added the old functionality as an option.
