  Applet Menu
DoorMenu Help - Door effect in Flash for web pages

This menu is for displaying thumbnails on a funny way. Each thumbnail can be connected to a specific URL. It supports both a vertical and horizontal mode.

Background color

You can set the background color for the menu here. We recommend having the same color as your page background.

Selecting Images and URLs

Make sure you have the same number of Images as you have URLs, when specifying images. Don't use images that are too big. Note that these images will be included into the SWF file, and it may swell to enormous proportions. Try modifying the compression setting to decrease the SWF file size. If you don't want to have one image with a link, leave the line empty in the URL field.

Transparency

Set the transparency for the images here.

Animation time

This sets the speed of the door movement.

Edge width and height

This sets the effect size.

Menu Direction

The menu mode will set your menu into vertical or horizontal mode. Note that you must adjust the Item size parameter for this to look well.

Sound clip

You can set a sound clip in MP3 format for the menu sliding effect.

Limitations

Due to a limitation in Flash Player 5.0, you can have a maximum of 200 menu items in the Flash applet. More than that, and the applet will not work.
