This text description slide show Flash applet will show you images with a small text description coming from a preset or varying direction.
The colors
The background color will show before an image appears and also shows a bit if the transparency of the image is low. The text and text background colors are for the small description windows
Fonts
You can here specify the text alignment (left, right or centered text), the text size (in pixels) and the font. This applet supports FFT files
Entering messages and Images
Make sure you have the same number of Images as you have book pages. Each book page will be one message. Don't use images that are too big. Note that these images will be included into the SWF file, and it may swell to enormous proportions. Try modifying the compression setting to decrease the SWF file size.
Image transparency
You can set the image transparency and thus let the fully appeared image be a bit transparent.
Durations and delays
The text and image durations controls the animation speed of the appearing text and image. You can also set the text and image delays which is the time the image and text will be displayed (statically) before they are animated away.
Text background
You can set the text background width, height and it's transparency value (alpha value).
Text animation types
With this selection you can let the text appear from all directions or let it appear randomly. You can also let it appear in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction.
Next Clip
When the animation has looped once, you can let it load another movie clip into it's place. This is useful if you have a large number of images but want to divide them in several applets that you "chain together".
Limitations
Due to a limitation in Flash Player 5.0, you are limited to a maximum of 200 images in the Flash applet. More than that, and the applet will not work.
